I had my colonoscopy today. Suffice it to say I received bad news. Abdominal surgery is in my not-too-distant future.
There’s nothing for me to do but to ask for your prayers.
As for my work, I’ll keep at it for as long as I can.

I guess the bright side is that they did find the problem. Prayers for the solution to be a simple one.
Thanks, Teddy.
Prayers out, for serenity for you and your wife, and for skill and wisdom of those who will be involved in your surgery and subsequent healing.
She’s more serene than I am, just now.
Oh, sorry, I wasn’t expecting this, but our Healing Lord is totally able to take care of our every problem and you will continue in our prayers until we hear good news.
That “prep” was so grueling, so devilishly hard, that I couldn’t take the bad news.
Take it a day at a time, and rely upon God for the things beyond your control.
“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” Psalm 56:3 You are in our prayers.
Oh, Lee, I’m so sorry to hear this. Of course I pray for you all the time, and I’ll pray extra hard for you now, as well as for Patty and of course the medical staff who’ll be doing the surgery. When do you expect to have the surgery? I hope Patty will keep us updated until you’re back at your keyboard again. We love you very much. You’ve created not just an excellent blog but also a family.
I’m not going anywhere for at least two weeks. Thanks for your prayers, I need them.
Times of testing come to us all (think Job). I’m glad I didn’t make jokes about colonoscopies. I pray for you and Patty, and for your doctor’s using wisdom in how to treat you.
Praying!!!
Thanks–I really need prayers now.
We’re all praying for you, Lee.
