Just because they’re animals doesn’t mean they’re blinkin’ stupid. The cats know the kid is faking it, so they ignore him. The hen investigates–briefly. Then walks away. But then she doesn’t want to play with the cats, either.

I love the videos from this channel. It’s pretty obvious that the cats were indifferent and the chicken was more curious than concerned. When I was a kid, I would fake crying, or whimpering, and our family dog would lick me, trying to help.
You couldn’t fool our dog Rags.
