Has California banned political satire?

Gov. Gavin Noisome has signed a bill into law to ban the use of Artificial Intelligence (artificial stupidity is still OK, it seems) in creating parodies (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/09/do-not-share-this-californias-gavin-newsom-just/). No more “materially deceptive content” allowed!

The legislature reacted quickly, following a viral parody of Kacklin’ Kamala Harris, the Evil Party’s candidate for president. (Have I just broken the new law? Better make sure to avoid California.)

We always knew Democrats have no sense of humor. They don’t like to be laughed at, not a bit.

Which is a good reason to do it. Even though when you think about it, they aren’t really funny. Not funny at all.

  1. Satire is what brought down the leaders/rulers of the French Revolution. Satire is how we bring down the antichrist government we are under at this present time – and you won’t find the satire to do it on the MSM because they are the prophet of the antichrist government.

    1. One of the most alarming things about our time is that people can’t laugh at anything, anymore. I grew up on satire, and could laugh at myself, from an early age. I used to watch Bullwinkle & Rocky, which was highly satiric. I read Mad Magazine, which was satire. It shaped me, for the good.

      When I lived in Minnesota, people told jokes about everything. None of it was mean spirited, it was just how we dealt with living in a place where there was a mix of cultures, and we all got along pretty well. The Swedes and the Norwegians might tease one another, from time to time, but it was meant as jest and we all stuck together and helped each other.

    2. Oops, that was the Babylon Bee’s trolling of Newsom. I’ll have to find the Elon Musk one and check back later or tomorrow.
