Things have been truly, deeply hectic around here. Yesterday I got a call from the nursing home that Lee has COVID. That means I can’t get to see him because of my COPD. He is OK otherwise and we talk a number of times a day. To look on the bright side–he now has the room to himself and it is much quieter and he can have the lights off. It had been far too noisy there and far too bright. He will be there by himself until he is better. He is very happy about that. Now he can re-read Princess of Mars which will keep him entertained.
I had a really long talk with Jesus yesterday when I gashed the knuckle of my left (thankfully) index finger changing the water bottle in our cooler. It is beastly hard to get a band aid on with one hand.
I hope everyone out there is OK.
Thank you for your prayers. You are all in mine.
Pat
Thanks for keeping us informed. Prayers continue.
Thank you so much for keeping us posted, Pat. I continue to pray for you and Lee — and I know what you mean about getting a band-aid on with one hand. Anyway, I’m glad to hear that Lee is resting more comfortably. Do we have any further word on the status of … well, the thing that started off all the chemo? You know that Lee has started a real family here, and we all worry about each other.
Thank you so much, Patty. I have been watching several times a day for the next update, and I appreciate your efforts along that line. I pray for you both very often. I know the Lord is with you, and that is a wonderful thing. Prayers and good thoughts keep going.
Still praying for you botb! 🙏🏻
Covid becomes a blessing – what a change of events. If Lee had a laptop maybe he could post some messages of his own. We sure do miss his insights and sarcasm.
Thank you for the information Patty. Prayers are still being said for you and Lee.
Continuing prayers. We love you!
