Let’s pray we weren’t too late to abandon ship
Could this good news possibly be true?

It’s getting to be an increasingly widely held opinion that Democrats learned nothing from their drubbing in November–they’ll just double down on all their crazy policies that regular people hate. Open borders. Promoting “transgender” in the public schools. Expanding the government, world government, preposterously expensive government. Suppressing free speech. All that Democrat stuff which the people energetically rejected in the last election.
Now, we know we’re living in a fallen world and bad ideas, evil ideas, can be driven into dark corners for a while, but by and by some fool brings them back out. The Democrat Party stands for asinine and wicked things. Mischief-makers, the lot of them.
The Lord will someday cast them down… for good. Forever.
It reminds me of the devotion seen in religious cults. When someone is totally brainwashed, they will reject any evidence which contradicts the beliefs of the cult. The more obvious the failure of the cult beliefs, the more strongly they will double down and continue to support the cult at all costs.
Recently, I was introduced to the term “collective narcissism”. Collective narcissism refers to the phenomenon of an insular group beginning to believe that their beliefs make them superior in understanding to anyone outside the group. If someone contradicts their beliefs, they explain it away as a lack of understanding on the part of the outsiders. The one thought they cannot tolerate is that the cult could actually not have all the answers.
The Democratic Party has become evermore focused on an array of social issues, especially over the last few decades, and have completely lost track of the issues which matter to the average person. They have attracted voters by promising solutions to all sorts of social issues, but we can see the results playing out in cities which embrace these social programs, frequently becoming ridden with crime and social problems that only seem to get worse.
I have no idea where this will end up.
I pray it leads to the extinction of the Democrat Party.
