Have I got this pattern? Country turns socialist. By and by, basic necessities are harder and harder to get as prices soar up, up, and away. Socialist government starts campaign to get people to eat insects.

Eat the insects, suckers!
What did the people of Brazil do to deserve this? Bad enough you’ve got a dictator who calls himself “Lula.” And now Lula wants you to eat crickets. Chirp, chirp. Not bad if you’re a lizard.
So they want you to eat bugs. I wonder if Lula ever sits down to a bowl of crunchy crickets. Yum, yum.
Thing is, these socialist tyrants always want their people perched on the edge of starvation and willing to do whatever the government says, to stave it off. Trotsky and Stalin would’ve had the Russians eating crickets, if Russia had had a shorter winter. Assorted Democrats have mentioned bug-eating as a pastime for Americans. I’d like to see them scarf down a mittful of mealworms.
Make no mistake out it, folks: our leaders despise us. “Lula” is only one of many rolled out by the tyrant factory. There are dozens of others like him.
They must all be put out of work.
Strangely, they never lead by example.
