Just got back from visiting Lee.  We played more chess and he said that he may be discharged to the nursing home (for rehab) tomorrow.  All the IVs are out.  He looks and sounds so much more like his old self.  We worked together on his new book idea, which was great fun.  I had never worked with him on a book before, but he wants my input on this one.

I can’t thank you all enough for your prayers.

I will keep you posted.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. Thanks for the update. I know he’s faced an uphill battle, but he’s beaten cancer, and that’s not nothing. He’s climbed Everest (rectal cancer recovery), Mount Mc Kinley (prostrate treatment), K2 (colon cancer recovery) and still faces Pikes Peak (hip surgery). None of this has been, or will be, fun, but it will pay off handsomely in the long run. I’m proud of all he’s done.

I’m especially heartened to hear that he’s back to his old self.

  2. Praise be to God for this wonderful news! Thank you so much, Patty, for keeping us updated. I can hardly wait to hear what the new book will be about.

  3. Hallelujah!!! So glad to hear Lee is feeling better today! I will continue to pray for good healing for him (and you, as you have suffered through this with him).

  4. Thank God Lee is getting out of the hospital soon. A nursing home has to be better in so many ways. And helping Lee on his new book idea, a real promotion for you Patty 🙂

    1. It’s going to be about an American ex-pat living in the Philippines. 🙂

  5. On the Joe Rogan episode with Mel Gibson, Mel mentions ivermectin (and hydrochloride(?) for curing cancer!!!!! Do a research and save Lee’a life!!!!
