Obviously this cat likes sticking her head under running water. Why she likes it, that’s a mystery. She looks a bit like one of our cats, Peep, who wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing.
One thing about cats, dogs, rats, mice, iguanas, turtles, and other animals–each has his own personality. They’re individuals.
Especially the cat in this video.
Looks like a really slow and tedious way to get a drink, but…whatever.
But the cat seems to enjoy it a lot.
Incredible! This kitty seems to be thoroughly enjoying her drink of water – and bathing the top of her head at the same time. Could be just an easier way of trying to reach that difficult spot on top of her head 🙂 You just never know what cats will do.
Haha, that’s hilarious!
Speaking of different animal personalities, when my dad was in his teens he had a horse that wouldn’t step into any water, even if it was a tiny puddle.
That is so funny!
We have one cat that likes to drink by first splashing her paw into the water like she’s attacking it, then licks her wet paw. We use fountains now and she has splashed so much, she has completely emptied the fountain of water. We’ve had to put the fountain into a tray to catch the water, though sometimes she still manages to splash beyond the tray.
Funny thing is, several cats prefer to drink the water from the tray instead of the water!
My cat insists upon drinking from the “cat fountains” in my home. Silly me, I had mistaken these for wash basins and a kitchen sink. 🙂 I usually run only a tiny trickle of water, and while she occasionally forgets herself and gets her head under the stream, she doesn’t let herself get doused like that. Very funny video.
Cats can find creative uses for all sorts of things.
That’s for sure. My cat got started with the faucets when she was 10 weeks old. She also has a taste for Bailey’s Irish Cream whiskey. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had any, but of I were to pour an Irish Cream she would want to lap it up.
Keep an eye on her!
I hide the car keys. 🙂
And the credit cards.
That explains the huge box of toy mice that was delivered today. 🙂
