Did not get much done today.
I am still waiting for the electrician. My landlord says he (the electrician) will come by as soon as he has time. I am afraid I will have to get more assertive about this, because no light in the kitchen is a major pain in the butt, and is not safe.
My neighbor, Josh went to the store today and picked me up a small lamp and a supply of good bulbs for it. It works well and will be a real help out there. He is a blessing.
I have to admit I was very deflated today. Plus it was dark and rainy most of the day.
Lee’s passing was only a short time ago, so there is always crying time.
I could use a crew in here, but when I am tired like this, I couldn’t even direct them.
Going to take it easy for the rest of the day.

Lee is in heaven waiting on you. Having a good cry is beneficial. Time flies at our age so enjoy each day as a gift (that’s why it is call the Present). I hit 78 today and I am living proof how time flies!!

Years ago, I experienced a terrible loss. It seemed like my life was over, and I couldn’t imagine ever getting through it. At first, every minute was bad, then shortly, there were good times and bad times, over time, the preponderance was good, and the bad was mostly a memory. God got me through; I’m certain of that. He’s with you, too.

Sometimes, it feels like the ground beneath your feet is never level. It doesn’t stay that way.
Many people have assured me it will get better. I believe them.
It’s a matter of adaptation, which happens naturally, with the passage of time. In the meantime, take things a day at a time.
That is what I am trying to do as best I can.
You’ll get there. It’s easy to say, but take my word, in retrospect you will see that you are making progress. You’ve faced some challenges recently, but you have faced them.
