A lot going on today.
I read about “dynamic pricing”. This is supposedly coming to a store near you, and is already in some Walmart stores. The price labels on the shelves are being replaced with electronic devices, that will reflect prices in “real time”. Technically, the price will go up (or down ha ha) in real time. Like when you put something in your cart, it might be one price, but by the time you check it out it could be another. I have to read more about this because there are all kinds of rumors about it flying around. There are supposedly so many vectors that come into play that the sensors could be picking up on (including your banking information, which they can pick up if you use your cell phone) that it boggles the mind. Talk about gratuitous technology! I have to run this one by Unknowable.
That’s why I pay cash.
Have a good night, all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.
