Today was the oddest weather day in my memory.
When I got up–very early in the morning–it was raining pretty heavily with the occasional rumble of thunder. It really couldn’t have been called a thunderstorm, and it passed. It cleared up, the sun came out and that seemed to be that. But no, within another hour and a half or so, it got dark again and we had a really bad downpour for at least half an hour. I was very glad that they had done that roof repair a while ago. Then it stopped, the sun came out and it was fine (but very, very, humid). Then it got pitch black yet again and we had another downpour. This happened a total of three times. Right now the sun is out, but I don’t 
know for how long. The humidity, by the way, is horrendous. It feels like the tropics. I don’t recall this happening so many times in one day before.
Like they say–if you can live in New Jersey, you can live anywhere.

Sounds like a typical Arizona Monsoon afternoon. It will rain, then stop, then start, then stop, etc. etc. During the times it’s not raining, the humidity is very high.
