Today, I opted for a nice, quiet Sabbath. Not thinking of tasks, things to do, or anything of that sort.
I needed it.
The issues are still there, but for my mental health, today I closed the door on them.
I may take tomorrow off, too, for Labor Day.
The weather was also lovely today, quite cool in the morning.
Tomorrow I want to check and see if we are having more volcanic activity than usual, or whether we are just being made more aware of it.
Was very happy to see that one of my regular readers came back today–I hope she was on vacation, doing something fun.
That about covers it.
Have a good night, all.
See you tomorrow.
God bless everybody.

Strangely, today I was very productive. After a nice restaurant breakfast, I took care of some grocery shopping, and then sojourned an extra 30 miles to get some less readily available items. It’s good to see places I don’t have frequent occasion to visit. At the end, I found a (fairly) nearby source for my favorite tea, and it’s actually cheaper than Amazon, who could give a flip less if there’s a problem with something they sold me. So, all in all, it was a good day.
The weather has cooled slightly, which means that my little cat is almost always right next to me. I like that. Somehow a cat curled nearby just makes life better.
Cats do make life better, especially when curled up by you.
