Back from the doctor

Surprisingly, all went well at the doctor’s today.

My lung function has improved.    I am “deconditioned” (it used to be called “out of shape”).  I go back to see her in six months,  but in the interim,  I MUST get on a program, even if just walking , before the weather gets really cold.

I’ve decided to seek a counselor to cope with this anxiety, which sometimes can be unbearable (no kidding, folks, it’s a beast).  She said I can probably find one right over at JFK Medical Center.  She said they have many programs there.

Now tomorrow, I have to check out the car.  If it won’t start I will have it towed to my mechanic (who is only a few blocks away) and he can start trying to find out what is killing my battery.

Those things being lined up make me feel like I’ve made some progress.

Tomorrow should be a relatively normal day.

Have a good night all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Patty

  1. Sounds like a positive day. With the exception of days when it’s icy and slippery, even a little bit of exercise per day can really help. A short walk is better than no walk. Routine is important, and setting aside at least some time, daily, makes a big difference.
