I have another video where a house- raised baby beaver built dams across the home’s hallway with all her toys.  They are adorable.

  1. They are very nuanced creatures. I’ve seen videos of the dam building behavior, before. That’s just what they do, and I’m fine with that. They are here for a reason.

    I found that separation between toys and sticks quite interesting. I see this as another sign of intelligence. Obviously, even without the tool of symbolic language, they can distinguish categories. Sure is a cute little creature.
