CDC: Blah-Blah-Blah, Etc.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC), an agency of the federal government, has found time to invent a whole lexicon of new “non-stigmatizing terms” for various groups of people. If you’re wondering how this helps control disease, keep wondering.

You can find most of this gobbledygook on the CDC website (www.cdc.gov), and more of it here (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9937093/CDCs-woke-new-language-guide-proposes-replacing-dehumanizing-words-like-ELDERLY.html).

Example: Instead of saying “the poor,” the CDC recommends you say “People with self-reported incomes in the lowest income bracket (if brackets are defined).” Has quite a ring to it, don’t you think? And it has the advantage of making it take longer to say stuff.

My favorite is the new term for convicts or prison inmates–“Persons who are incarcerated.” What a difference that makes!

Oh, wait! I’ve figured it out. The CDC thinks most of us don’t know what “incarcerated” means! Gotta take that public education into account.

This is the same CDC that says imaginary “systemic racism” is a disease infecting all America and riots are therefor OK–just another way of improving public health.

Why do they waste time doing stupid stuff like this?

Well, it seems they have the time to waste. But I also think they’re laughing at us, and going out of their way to show their deep disrespect for the people of America. That would be us suckers who pay for it all.

How does any of this protect us from disease? Are you happy that that job seems to have been given to pompous air-heads?

Sometimes I think the whole world’s laughing at us.
