Sing Louder! ‘The Hallelujah Chorus’

Years ago on our local Christian radio station, someone wiser than I’ll ever be was asked, “You see how the world is going–worse and worse with every day! What do you do? What do you do when you see how bad things are?”

Her answer: “Sing louder!”

Well, it doesn’t get any louder than “The Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s The Messiah. We usually hear this around Christmas or Easter–but there is no time when it isn’t good for us to hear it!

Performed by the Crown College Choir.

‘Like a River Glorious’ (Crown College Choir)

There are still young people in our colleges who can be an inspiration to us–and oh, what human voices can do, when they have the training for it!

This is the Crown College Choir performing Like a River Glorious at Temple Baptist Church, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Hymn, ‘Who Is the King of Glory?’

This is from Handel’s Messiah, performed by the Crown College Choir.

Psalm 24 both asks the question and states the answer:

Who is the king of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle…

Who is the king of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the king of glory.
