Here’s one knitter who wouldn’t have groveled–Madame DeFarge.
Remember this? All the poor women said was, she was excitedly looking forward to her trip to India… and doing some knitting–and the roof fell in on her. The Wokies clamored for her scalp.
Yes–somehow knitting (!) got construed as “Racist” and all the trolls piled on. The beleaguered knitter was forced to grovel to “Persons Of Color.” ‘Cause you know POCs are absolutely right about everything and must be deferred to at every opportunity.
Knitting!
