You get up in the morning and there’s a dog on your porch, camped out on your favorite chair, wagging his tail when he sees you. This is a very strange story (with a happy ending).
Where did this dog come from?
They tried and tried, but couldn’t find out.
I don’t know what the people who made this video were thinking. With any bad luck at all, the parakeet ends up as Doggy De-Lite. But this bird shows a remarkably “What, me worry?” attitude.
“Fetch!” he says–like it’s the easiest thing in the world. It’s one of those things dogs have to put up with from humans. Like stacking prepositions back to back. One of these days, dogs will create goofy human videos. Turnabout, you know.
We are told that this dog, for reasons of his own, peed on the couch. So the toddler reads him the riot act. (I guess so; I don’t speak their language). We are wondering if this really is desirable training to give a child so young. She might grow up to be unbearable.
If at first you don’t succeed…
Look how hard these tumbly puppies have to work, to get the adult dog to play with them. Well, heck–if puppies can’t break down your resistance, it’s time your soul got a tune-up.
The two dogs in this video run around with these crunchy thingies in their mouths. By and by, I discovered that the crunchy thingies are… cow ears. Somehow that strikes me as indefinably barbaric. But the dogs seem to enjoy it.
I can’t say any of the dogs in my family ever got into knocking people over. This video, though, shows that a lot of dogs are very good at that–here comes the dog, and head-over-heels you go.
Some thoughtful humans assembled this enormous heap of stuffed toys–just for their dog. Now you can have fun watching the dog’s reactions and trying to figure out what’s going on in her mind (it ain’t easy).
Dreaming–it’s something we have in common with our pets, especially with dogs. You can guess what a dog is dreaming about just by watching what he does. Running, for instance: it’s a giveaway. They’ll also bark in their sleep: but no way to tell at whom.
Whose pups are these, anyway? They don’t look anything like the dog (a golden retriever). Did she agree to watch them for a while? Did she know what she was getting into?
Well, a lot of baby-sitters don’t know that.
