‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

This hymn is simply glorious, and performed gloriously at Halifax Minster–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:17)

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

I do have a hymn request to post this morning, but I loaded this on my mouse last night and I want to share it with you: choir and congregation at Halifax Minster, singing Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise. Would you believe we used to sing this in assembly at high school? Anyone who says those weren’t better times, wasn’t there.

Encore, ‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

This is just so beautiful–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise, sung by the congregation and the choir at Halifax Minster.

Hang on to its wisdom with both hands.

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

This is the hymn that was in my mind at bedtime, still here this morning–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise. I can hardly believed we sometimes sang this at assembly in high school: better times. Sung here by the choir and congregation at Halifax Minster.

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

Today’s hymn–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise–comes to us from Halifax Minster, England: 900 years old and still going strong. Choir, organ, and the Holy Spirit–amen!

P.S.–If you’re new to this blog, we post hymns by request. Tell me what you’d like to see and hear, I’ll find it on youtube, and we can all enjoy it.
