‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

This hymn is simply glorious, and performed gloriously at Halifax Minster–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise.

“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:17)

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

I have just read the applicable Bible verse, 1 Timothy 1:17, so naturally this hymn–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise–sprang to mind. This a capella rendition is by the Smucker Family. Set design and construction by God the Father.

‘Immortal, Invisible’

This is the hymn that came into my head at bedtime, and was still there this morning, so this is the hymn I post today: Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise (see 1 Timothy 1:17), sung back the Smucker Family. Background sets by God the Father, who shapes the mountains with His hands.

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

This is the first hymn that suggested itself this morning: Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise. Probably because I started reading 1 Timothy this morning, in which St. Paul wrote, “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever” (1 Timothy 1:17). Performed by the Smucker Family.

‘Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise’

Wow! I needed this hymn, this morning. It was in my head before I came downstairs for breakfast–Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise.

Let’s face it, our country’s up to her eyebrows in the crick-mud and she ain’t getting out unless God reaches down and pulls her out.

Not for our sakes, O Lord: but for Jesus Christ’s sake, whose right it is to rule Creation, and for your glory’s sake, deliver us.
