Mostly today I kept checking up on the weather. New Jersey is right in the crosshairs.
My biggest concern is a power failure.
The ants seem to be making a comeback–since I changed the traps.
Am knocking off early today and will find something to watch other than weather updates.

Holy moly, did it rain last night! Just a few minutes after I went to bed, and then the sky broke open.
Whew! Good thing the roof repairs were finished a couple of days ago. You would’ve sworn the building was just inches from being washed away.
And this morning, there stood our neighbor with a hose in her hand, watering her flowers. Like they didn’t get enough last night??? But maybe she slept through it.
I was thankful when the storm ended after just fifteen or twenty minutes, and our ceiling was still where it should be.
That much excitement, I don’t need.
