‘Home of the Soul’

This is the first time I’ve ever heard this hymn–Home of the Soul, sung at home by Nathan and Lyle with family and friends.

Today’s Hymn, ‘Home of the Soul’

Published in 1912, Home of the Soul can still light up a morning. Nathan (autoharp), Lyle (ukelele), and some family and friends perform it for us here. I wonder how many of us have hymn sing-alongs in our living rooms: not a bad idea, eh?

P.S.–We take requests. If you have a favorite hymn you’d like to see posted here, just let me know.

‘Home of the Soul’

This hymn from 1912, Home of the Soul, is here performed by Nathan and Lyle, with family and friends, in Denton County, Texas–performed, as always, with great enthusiasm.

God know we need it! Bless these people, Lord, for showing us how to do what is sometimes the only thing to be done–to sing louder.
