Gee, and she was only elected last year!
It seems that even in this Congress you can’t quite get away with having affairs with your staffers–of both sexes–and taking nude pictures of yourself that wind up being viewed by everybody in the world. So Congresswoman Katie Hill, Democrat from California, has announced her resignation.
It’s everybody else’s fault, of course. She blames her “abusive husband” and “hateful political operatives” (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/katie-hill-to-resign-from-office-amid-house-ethics-investigation-into-relationships-with-staffers). Dash it all! And she had just become a major player in the Democrats’ BS “impeachment” circus, too!
The House of Representatives has rules against having sexual affairs with your aides and staffers. It’s a bit hard to claim innocence when they’ve got the pictures.
There are, alas, still plenty of Dems in Congress, busily toiling away to overturn the 2016 presidential election.
But at least there’s one less, now, to plague the country.
