Greta Thunberg, all of 20 years old, has been awarded an honorary doctorate in Theology by Helsinki University (https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4139802/posts).
Is this rich, or what? When did this poster child for Climbit Chainge study theology? Where did she study it? Is there any evidence that suggests she knows the least thing about theology?
Yeahbut, yeahbut! Climbit Chainge is a RELIGION, man! She don’t need no stinkin’ degree! Except now she has one. “Dr. Thunberg.” It’s enough to make a pile of bricks break down and cry.
What can you say? Colleges and universities have gone plumb crazy, all over the world. What in the world can they “teach” anybody?

If there is a saving grace t9 this, it would be that an honorary doctorate in Theology strikes.me as being worth considerably less than the paper it is printed on. Honorary degrees are, well, honorary., and not likely to get you much more than the right to prefix your name with “Dr”. A degree in theology should be worthwhile, but these days, theology degrees can be taught by atheists. I would love to study theology, but many of the schools have been corrupted by human philosophy, as opposed to being driven by scripture.
Of all subjects, though, theology ? Greta? Yikes.
