Just tellin’ it like it is
Italy’s prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, has made some waves by saying that Islam and Europe are “not compatible”–especially that bit about Shari’a law, which she described as “impossible” for European civilization (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/12/italys-pm-giorgia-meloni-stresses-incompatibility-islamic-culture/).
What??? Incompatible? You could’ve knocked me over with a feather! Dog my cats and fry my hide! Who would’ve thought it?
Not that P.M. Meloni has a solution–net yet–to the problem of multitudes of Middle Eastern and African Muslims pouring into Italy.
But is it really all that hard?
Where is it written that every country in the world has to let you in and give you free stuff? This is a crazy policy that has never brought anything but chaos. Remember the Roman Empire? When they couldn’t maintain their borders anymore, that was the end of them. We can be sure Ms. Meloni knows that.
Countries that manage immigration in a sane and orderly way can benefit by it.
But that is not what anybody’s doing these days.
