Snoopy’s Story

A little over two years ago, my daughter was considering getting another dog to be a companion to Boo, her pittie.  She saw a notice on Instagram about a dog named Albert who needed a foster home ASAP.  He had been in a shelter for over a year, and because he was so quiet and mellow they assumed he was  a senior.  Actually he was a couple of years younger than they thought.  Georgia brought him home and he had some socializing with Boo that went really well.  The bottom line was–they never fostered him, they adopted him.

He is possibly one of the most laid back dogs around.  His personality is just wonderful.

However, he really likes being outside.  I would too, if I spent a year in a shelter.

The happy ending is that Snoopy (changed from Albert) is a jolly, happy, fun loving guy who loves being outdoors.

I really love happy endings.

Sanity Break: Funny Dogs REPRINT

From December 8, 2016

If only dogs could talk, they might get somewhere with these arguments. It might be interesting to hear this one dog’s reasons for why he ought to be given some sushi. But all the dogs in this video have something to say–and we humans just don’t get it… whatever it is.

Animals in Crazy Places REPRINT

Dogs up on top of the roof–how did they get there? Wild turkey raising cain in the living room–who let him in? And of course the cat in the lizard tank: note the lizard trying to keep his cool. Enjoy these odd videos!
