We have entered a dangerous period of history. All over the world, people are getting wise to the false and grandiose claims of secular humanism. They’re waking up and starting to resist it.
“Using technology wisely,” as they say in Humanist Manifesto II, these fools claim they will do all the things that God never did because He doesn’t exist. They’re going to wipe out poverty, injustice, war, diseases, and everything else that’s bad–just give ’em the power, and they’ll do it–ushering in an earthly paradise. The only thing wrong with that claim is that they just can’t bloody do it.
Why? Because they are working from a totally wrong assumption. As Christians, we know the evils of the world spring from the sinful human heart. But humanists have always insisted that the evils arise not from within us, but as a result of improperly set-up institutions–which they, of course, will re-engineer and then everything will be hunky-dory. They have broken an awful lot of eggs to make this omelet, with nothing to show for it but heaps of dead bodies.
But these claims of theirs are all they have, and they will fight like demons to hold onto them. It’s all about their own personal power, pride, and wealth; and they will fight to keep it.
That’s why they make war on Christmas. That’s why, in the wake of Donald Trump’s election, Brexit, and increased resistance to their program all throughout the world, and a lot of people now saying “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holiday that we’re ashamed to mention by name,” they have now moved on to another campaign which Breitbart news calls “War on Christmas 2.0”–an argument that Jesus Christ never existed in the first place: “historians and bloggers alike are questioning whether the actual man called Jesus ever existed” ( http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/12/21/war-christmas-2-0-jesus-never-existed/ ).
And that’s why we must tirelessly proclaim that Christ came in the flesh and that He did, and does, and always will, exist.
Pray, sing, and do good works in Jesus’ name–because these rampant secularists, these God-wannabes, don’t care who they hurt or how much damage they do, and they won’t stop until their master, Satan, is cast into the lake of fire.
