Ah! One of those old hymns from Sunday school.
How soothing it is–and this morning I really need it.
This is one of those days when, for every errand you finish, two more take its place. Go to the doctor. (Danger of amputation averted.) Replace windshield wiper blade. Go to Wal-Mart for prescription. Go to Wegman’s to replenish special supplies that I can’t get anywhere else. Try to squeeze in a blog post. Go to Stop & Shop for weekly grocery order. Ach du lieber! It’s already going on 12:30 and I haven’t been to Stop & Shop yet.
Eat breakfast and call it lunch. Blog post. Write News With Views column. Vacuum the living room. And don’t forget to give the cat her medicine.
Is it really only Monday?
Sing louder! Praise the Lord!
Indeed, this is a soothing hymn.
When the clock passed 10 a.m. I knew there was some reason you hadn’t yet posted anything -especially the hymn for the day. Instead, it was MANY reasons! Wow!
Have a blessed day, Lee, if a somewhat busy one.
How is your elbow coming along?
Yes, we know it hurts. Go do something really really nice for yourself and forget the to-do list for a while. For me, that would be something chocolate and wickedly sweet. Most all those things will wait for a little while.
God does not take you OUT of things, He takes you THROUGH them so grin and bear it, Big Boy. You’ll heal up pretty soon and be back to normal.
I do like your daily posts so please keep them coming. Better late than never.
Could we hear “Jesus Loves Me.” Very simple kids’ song but we grownups need to hear it and be reminded sometimes.
Thanks, Lee
Absolutely! I’ll post it today.
