If you had a tail, would you chase it? And what would you do with it, if you caught it?
It’s been a hard day, and I want to unwind by watching cats wind themselves up–which they are obviously doing just because they like it. At least I can’t think of any other reason for tail-chasing.
Maybe it is just practice for when there is a mouse to chase? I have always found that cats will chase anything that moves. These are some
really pretty cats.
Too cute 🙂 Could it be that because mama cats play/teach their kittens to stalk and hunt by flicking their tails, that the tendency just stays with them? That’s my guess. Cats are such amazing creatures – cats of all sizes!
I’ve never known a cat that outgrew chasing her tail.
I think you got off at the wrong station. You are a writer of tales so, if you just back up and start over, you’ll be successful in following your tales to the end. Writers are that way; can’t help it. They just gotta write. I know! It may sound strange but it’s true.
Imagine all the cats who thought they were going to read “Canterbury Tails.”
