Our friend Joyce has been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes, and is in need of our prayers.
Joyce, take heart! Cataract surgery these days is little short of amazing. It can be done right there in the doctor’s office, quickly, and you walk out with your eye working just fine. My wife has had the surgery in both eyes, and the only hard thing about it was remembering to follow the schedule for the eye-drops afterward.
Father in heaven, please bless our sister, Joyce, and restore the sight of her eyes, as Our Lord Jesus Christ did so many times during His earthly ministry. And please allay her understandable fears. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Note: Whether He does it spontaneously or through physicians, all healing comes from God. We know that and give thanks for it.
You are added to my prayer list, Joyce. Cataracts afflict me, as well – for somewhere around 7 or 8 years now. My ophthalmologist has said when I’m ready, I’ll know it, so I guess I’m not ready yet lol. I know many people who have had this surgery, including my brother, mother and mother-in-law, with great success. Father, grant Joyce restored vision, in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Father. Amen.
Joyce, I say amen to both prayers, and promise to add you to my prayer journal and pray in the next few minutes. My younger son recently had this surgery in his right eye. Where he did not feel comfortable to even drive, as soon as he left the surgeon’s office, he was amazed and he still remains very happy and thankful for the eyesight that is better than it has been in years. May the Lord bless and keep you, grant you peace and assure you of His care for you as we all pray in His name.
I hope you can get it taken care of! I’ve heard several people say that the surgery is amazing.
Thank you for prayers. I’m hearing that it is very easy and very wonderful to have clear sight back from so many folks. But I just want to be able to answer “who did your surgery?” with “no one…..Jesus healed me!” Won’t that shake people up?
