Dogs would never succeed in politics. Look at them: they don’t know how to lie.
And it’s too bad, too, because they are endowed with one of the key ingredients indispensable to holding public office–the ability to know a thing is wrong, and then go ahead and do it anyway.
But dogs, at least, feel shame, rendering them wholly unsuitable for positions in any government.
Poor dogs! Even when there are two of them, the guilty party can’t seem to hide it. How cute! 🙂
