‘There is Sunshine in My Soul’

Written in 1887 and still sweet and fresh today, There is Sunshine in My Soul–here performed by Nathan and Lyle and assorted friends and family members from Denton County, Texas. Enjoy the little gaffe at the end; they did.

And now I have to hie myself to the nursing home, the doctor’s office, etc. See you later, everybody.

P.S.–This video seems to have disappeared after I posted it. I have just restored it. I’m sure I did something wrong, somewhere along the way. But that’s me with computers.

  1. Have a blessed day, Lee. Happy birthday to your Aunt Joan.

The hymn didn’t post, so I’m sure you’ll get back to it 🙂

    1. This one – Nathan and Lyle doing ‘There Is Sunshine In My Soul’. It doesn’t show up for me. Not sure what to make of it.

Hope your visit with your aunt went well. Were you able to find someone to play ‘Amazing Grace’ for her?

    2. Well, it’s right here on the blog where it ought to be. You should be able to find it just by going to the home page and scrolling down a bit.
All the nurses on Joan’s floor were fully occupied with other things today, and all I was able to to was get the air conditioning in her room turned on. Thanks for asking.

    3. I’ve just discovered you were right–the video did disappear! I’ve just put it back. You have to expect things like this to happen when I try to cope with technology.

    4. Well it certainly was worth the wait 🙂 They’re such a joyful family. And I’m glad it wasn’t another issue with this poor old computer of mine.
