By Request, ‘Put Your Hand in the Hand of the Man from Galilee’

“Thewhiterabbit” asked for this one–Put Your Hand in the Hand of the Man from Galilee–and said I  could choose the artist.

Behind the ridiculous costumes, the Las Vegas gigs, and the sheer celebrity, everything I’ve read about Elvis Presley says he really meant it when he sang a gospel song. He could sing anything he wanted; and he sang the praise of Jesus Christ.

I have read that his mother did bring him up as a church going person.
Many people have loved his voice for many years.

Good choice, Lee. In January on the Mike Huckabee Show on TBN, Gov. Huckabee arranged his whole show around Elvis Presley and what a good Christian he was. Huckabee knew him well, as well as other musical guests he had on the show. Bottom line: God is the One who sees the heart.
