Do you ever get the feeling that nothing you do, personally, serves God and His Kingdom in any meaningful way?
You can stop fretting. It’s God who advances the Kingdom; we are only honored to be His servants.
Mark Rushdoony addresses that issue in a recent essay for Chalcedon.

We can’t all be Martin Luther or Mother Theresa. But we can all be faithful.
Amen! Strong words.
Yes, being an obedient servant. But that is a bit on the abstract side of things. The Bible asks the question: “How shall we then live? In our totally personal relationship to God, we should be asking “what part am I to play?” Once that question is answered, then play that part to God’s glory, i.e. acted out in excellence. Or as Jesus taught in John 3, we are like the wind being blown about by the Holy Spirit – our life’s purpose is to enjoy the Lord (a simple child-like message so often passed over by the cares of this life).
