It’s true–these cats are really into sports on TV. Hockey? Oh, yeah! Imagine if the cat could really catch one of those little men zooming all around the screen. Golf? Imagine the golfer’s reaction if he launched a long drive only to have it plucked out of the air by a cat. They also go for tennis and football… and ballroom dancing. Someone should’ve taught that cat to say “May I cut in?” rather than just springing at the dancers.
I have heard that cats have little choice but to pounce upon anything that moves. Television is all about motion, so it’s a perfect match for their pouncing instincts. Fun to watch.

It’s not easy to bring a TV set to the ground and find its jugular. 🙂
