The Emmys Take a Fall

Any takers?

Do you like to be nagged by left-wing know-it-all celebrities? If so, you’re probably one of the dozens of people who watched the annual Emmy Awards the other night.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, viewership for the awards show was down 33 percent from last year’s flop, which for only one year held the distinction of being the least-viewed Emmys ever (

Aired on Fox, of all places, this year’s Emmys featured a parade of pampered celebrities yapping about “transgender” rights–for the record, there is no such thing as “transgender”: it’s only something people say they are–and the supposed “gender pay gap” oppressing women wherever the sun shines on America. For some unimaginable reason, not many people chose to sit there and listen to it.

It would be nice to think the Far Left Crazy’s time has come–and gone! And will never come again.

Vote next year to make it so.

  1. Good. I’m glad to hear this. I have not watched any of the award programs for years, and I’m glad to see that a lot of others are choosing to opt out. We don’t need to waste our time on such childish frivolity.

    1. Here at Chez Leester, we’ve watched only one awards show in all our 40-plus years together. It was a science fiction awards show. It was unbelievably horrible.

  2. I would think a 33% drop in viewers would send a loud and clear message.

Do you think they’ll get it? Is anybody there listening?

    1. I heard you! I heard you!

Otherwise I wouldn’t have even known they had the dumb Emmies.

  3. This reminds me of President Trump at the UN meetings this week. He attended the Climate meeting after only 15 minutes to go give a phenomenal speech at the Religious Freedom meeting!! His spiritual counselor, Pastor Robert, praised Trump for skipping the UN panel on imaginary climate crisis to speak on religious persecution, something no other leader has ever done.
