Why thank you!
It is my opinion that perspective gained from understanding the OT helps immensely in understanding the NT. The NT writers were born into the Jewish system of the first century and lived the effects of the OT in their everyday lives.
If you took out of the New Testament all the quotes from the Old, you’d be left with a very thin book. But liberals don’t like the Old Testament because it has laws in it.
The very laws which gave the ancient Israelites an advantage in sanitation, disease control, social and economic stability. Yep; you can’t have something like that going on. 🙂
I agree.
James referred to the Old Testament writings as “The law of liberty.” Sounds like it is important to study 🙂
Thing is, when God’s laws are written on your heart, then you **don’t** need a policeman on every street corner.
Scheduling this on Twitter!
This time it’s working–and how! 61 views for it here, and not yet quarter after 8.
Awesome!
And then the views stopped coming. Wish I could figure out why. Well, maybe there’ll be more later.
I hope so. It seems there’s likely less views as time goes by since people move on to other tweets. If it doesn’t get retweeted its often lower than those that get tweeted obviously
If I could only figure out what it is that I do, on those days when I get lots of views, I would do it on purpose.
Yeah same here
Well, now your post is up to 70 views–getting its second wind, maybe.
Wow so it jumped from what, 60?
Yes, up from 61. Seventy’s not bad.
Yeah 70>61.
