Illinois Schools: Full-Throttle ‘Gender’ Madness

They call it “education.”

Big hint here: If your state department of education has anything like an “Affirming and Inclusive Task Force,” which issues a report like “Strengthening Inclusion in Illinois Schools,” your state has one department of education too many (https://townhall.com/columnists/toddstarnes/2020/03/02/illinois-task-force-recommends-eliminating-prom-kings-queens-n2562692).

What do these lunatics have to do, before you remove your children from their custody?

The report, intended to apply to all public education from preschool through grade 12, recommends, just to mention a few of the items on the menu:

No more prom queens or kings; no more “gender language” (like, say, “boys and girls”–can’t say that anymore); all activities must be gender-neutral; non-gender dress code; bathrooms and locker rooms open to anyone who wants to use them (boys undressing with girls, and girls with boys–oops, wrong language); and…

Parents are only to be involved “as appropriate.” Translation: “Never, if we can swing it.”

Is this what the people in Illinois actually want? Have they all gone mad? We know the “educators” have.

What is the purpose of this madness? What is it supposed to do for us–besides train our children to be weirdos?

We pay for this. We pay all the bills, but we don’t own it, we don’t get a say, just shut up and pay your taxes. And when the Chicago teachers’ union wants to send its members on junkets to Venezuela so they can learn how to trash our country–well, you’re paying for that, too.

The public has no say in “public education.”

It has to stop.

  1. The purpose of this madness is that the “god of this world” is being allowed to run amok, and not enough Christians are praying, trusting the true and only GOD to correct this.

    1. I remember when the USSR (disguised as a Warsaw Pact coalition) invaded Czechoslovakia in 1968. Reporters heard Russian soldiers marveling at the immorality they found in Prague. They were quite strait-laced.

  2. This puts a stop to behaviors between boys and girls that prepare them for healthy relationships which lead to marriage. Instead, they promote sex, just sex and sex only, hoping for 2 things – making sex more important than love and increasing abortions.

    1. Sounds good to me. Where do I sign up, besides the voting booth. I think we’re outnumbered. Otherwise, parents would be doing more and we’re just not hearing about it.

    2. These schools should be making parents mad as hornets… and yet they’re not. I don’t understand that. When I was in school, the parents in our town would never for a minute tolerated any of this stuff.

But that was back when schools were run by local school boards, whose members were responsible to the community or else.

  3. Yes, in former days, the parents did hold schools accountable. Even when my middle aged sons attended, their dad and I made several assaults in the schools they attended, letting the offenders know that their behavior would not be tolerated. We occasionally had to threaten legal action if they did not correct their wrong-doings, and we got a pretty good rate of compliance. However, neither son wound up “graduating” their facilities.
Instead, we began other training, home instruction, trade school training, etc. Both sons established their own businesses instead of continuing in the clown show.

    1. When I was in high school, our school district tried to plug in a “sex education” curriculum–recommended, but not ordered, by the state of New Jersey: they hadn’t yet taken the power to order anything.

The parents of the town left the board members in no doubt as to their feelings, and the innovation was voted down.

But now the public has no say. No say at all.
