I don’t know what time it is in Japan, so maybe our friends Joshua and Jeremy have gone to bed already. But we haven’t.
You want to know how Christianity works? Here is a Welsh hymn performed by two young men in Japan, and a video watched by Christians (and others) all over the world.
Now when are you guys gonna sing?
Wonderful, wonderful. I wish you could see and hear me clapping for you.
Thank you, Erlene! I think I can hear you in my mind! 🙂
LOVE this!
I ask that last question to myself every time I watch one of their videos!
Thanks for watching, Lydia!
Nice work, gents. Joshua, I noticed that when you go from the C Maj to the Am you walk it down with a B note in the bass. I really like that. It adds interest and defines the movement of the harmony.
There was a guitar player named Joe Pass that made a science out of playing bass lines as part of his songs. I was able to see him live on more than one occasion and spent an afternoon at an instructional clinic he did. It was even more amazing in person. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_kUJa1PueM I just thought you might enjoy seeing this.
Wow! That’s some guitar playing! Thanks for sharing the video, Unknowable!
That Pass guy was just showing off. I could play the guitar like that, if I had the time. (This is what people always say to writers. Always.)
Everybody just k own that they have a great book inside themselves, just waiting to get out. From what I can tell, writing involves keeping track of a lot of separate threads. A lot of people cannot preserve continuity for one paragraph, not to mention an entire book.
Can I reach the Pass level? I’m afraid the odds are against me. Brother Jeremy is sure to pass me. In fact, he has already!
Gotta work on those facial expressions!
Oh, yes, come to think of it, I’m lacking facial expression skills! I’m kind of robotic, sad to say…
Master the art of grimacing… Quokka U. might offer a degree program in it.
Ah! That’s more my taste! Quokka U. might be an option for me, if I can fit in that is…
Work on your hopping. Quokkas do a lot of hopping.
Alright! I’m beginning to feel like a quokka already! Dare to be a quokka!
*Ooof!!”… Ow, that hurt.
Hopping is for the hopeful, for the hoppers who hop for hope…
Now I’m making a fool out of myself. A skinned knee and words of inanity. I’ll become the laughing stock of all the quokkas!!

This university is coming together in record time. Dibs on the first doctorate. 🙂
Sure you can reach Joe Pass’ level. It involves the most awful word of them all: scales. Learn scales and be very disciplined with fingerings. Learn chords and learn how they all fit together. Joe Pass was a great player, but he was no superhuman.
I’ll work on it! 🙂
He was amazing.
Did you see the comment, “Well, I’ve got the facial expressions down, now all I have to do is master the guitar-playing”?
Facial expressions are an important part of guitar playing. 🙂
Thank you so much for posting this! May God be glorified! We aren’t that good at singing, so we’re just playing our gitfiddles for now. I’m working on putting lyrics on our videos.
Well, gee, you’ve got to be better at it than I am…
Anyway, you guys are very well loved around here.
I thank God for letting us even be here!
Maybe we’ll tune our throats and start singing again! (When we feel like it, that is.)
We are getting treated to some pretty fancy guitar playing today. Love it.
For years, I listened to everything that guy put out. It was astounding what he could do. More astounding yet was the experience of watching a diminutive fellow walk out on stage in front of thousands of people and play a concert completely alone. He carried a guitar, I think he usually borrowed an amp, and that was it.
I am singing the words as I enjoy the music – thanks guys!!
Thank you for watching, Whiterabbit!!
Joshua and Jeremy are so awesome! Was blessed to hear this!
Thanks, Slim Jim!!
Keep up the good work brother(s)!
Thank you, Brother Jim, and thank you on behalf of my baby bro in bed as well!!
Good night!
Good night! 🙂
😊
Once again, thank you all from the Mariana Trench of my heart! 🙂 💖
Thank you, Mr. Duigon and everybody! 😄
