The Family with the Rabbit

I wonder how much better I would’ve turned out if my parents had brought home a nice big bunny when I was two years old. Something cuddly. Well, I’ll never know.

But the family in this video seems to be doing just fine with their rabbit. He’s almost big enough to double as a polo pony. It’s difficult to see how even a cat or a dog could do a better job of being a pet.

  1. 1. you might have turned out better;
    2. a cat or dog couldn’t be a better pet than a rabbit.

    So, I wonder if its care, feeding, and visits to the would change your mind. If not, let your fan club tell you they wouldn’t want to know anyone better than you. That rabbit, I mean person, doesn’t exist.

    1. Sorry about that. The last thing I want is to cause you to experience a loss of words – lol.

  2. I agree, it is hard to imagine how you could have turned out better. They surely were doing things just right.

  3. Even without a rabbit, you turned out well, Lee.

    Animals and kids are such a great combination. Kids learn to care about another creature and animals seem to love children, as well. I had both dogs and cats growing up. Puppies and kittens were wonderful things to see and it’s truly my privilege to have been part of caring for litters of both. God’s stuff works.

  4. We have had rabbits in our house since 1989, the dwarf size. Our last house rabbit died last Spring. I have always wanted a big rabbit like the one in the video but my wife is partial to the dwarfs, so dwarfs it is. Rabbits house train easily except for gnawing on the furniture – that takes some doing to train them out of that.
