What happens when you goose a hamster (besides mixing a metaphor)? When an inexperienced sea turtle miscalculates the tide? Those are two eye-poppers in this collection. I don’t know… I just find hamsters awful hard to resist.

  1. Hamsters are endearing little creatures. They are about as cute as anything alive. I liked the cat chasing the little horse and the parakeet and goldfish pictures at the end were quite beautiful.

    2. They are sweet little creatures. They may bite at first, but once they realize that you are no threat, they tend to enjoy having a human protector.

    3. I had a mouse whom I used to let run around on the living room floor. She’d go a little farther from me each time, but always come running back to me.

      How can that be? What do we look like, to a mouse? What do they think we are? But I’ve had lots of pet mice, and they were all very affectionate with humans.

  2. Interesting thoughts. Obviously, they like humans, at least the ones that have been around humans. It’s pretty amazing, if you think about it.

    Hamsters will take off if they are freed, but when you do looking for them, they come over to see what all the fuss is and you can easily catch them.
