A High-Voltage Kitten

I don’t know what this mother cat wanted to do, but the kitten doesn’t give her much of a chance to do it.

I had a mouse once who had babies, and those babies were very averse to being weaned. They’d mob her and actually lift her off the floor of the cage when they insisted on nursing. All she could do, finally, was to climb up on top of the water bottle and angrily chatter at her offspring.

  1. The eternal struggle. A kitten that needs to practice it’s hunting skills and a mom that wants to be dignified. Kittens are about as bold an animal as exists.
