That was all bunk.
Jean-Pierre Hallet (Animal Kitabu) said practically any animal will respond to kindness and affection. And to prove it, he tamed a full-grown rhino named Pierrot. He used to ride on Pierrot’s back.

That’s quite a story. Animals have been quite underestimated by science. Much of what I learned in school has been proven wrong. These creatures are anything but mindless and unfeeling.
That’s really touching. I didn’t know there were animal orphanages like this one.
It does us credit, that there are.
