As for the look-alike mouse, I’ll cast my vote for one of the mice from the old Farmer Grey cartoons. (Another “Memory Lane” reference!)
I love how a cat can manufacture fun from the simplest of situations. A toy mouse, or a shadow, or even a puff of a breeze, and they can turn that into play.
Our toy mouse has been stripped down to its plastic.
I buy toy mice in bulk. 🙂

Ours was once a very respectable toy mouse; but three generations of cats have worn him out.
He gave his best, and he gave his all. Poor little mouse! 🙂
