I can’t think of a hymn I love more than this one–Light of the World, by Charles Wesley, performed the old-fashioned way by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band.
It’s raining here again: no working on my book today. Maybe while I rest, a title will come to me. I have to wait for the Lord to give me one.
Everyone who knows how to pray is praying for rain here now. It is the dryest spring we have had since I have lived here, and the crops are dying of thirst.
This is a wonderful song to help turn my attention to a better place.
I never tire of hearing from Maddy and her Carnival.Band, or that hymn for that matter.
