‘Following Lee’s Blog’ (April 2021)

I’m re-running this post by Jill, our webmaster, as a public service to new readers–or as a cry for help, take your pick.

Following Lee’s Blog

Not one new follower since May 11. That’s got to be wrong.

I looked into signing up with Parler, but I didn’t understand the instructions (when I read about tech stuff, it just doesn’t stick to my brain) and anyway they wanted my cell phone number and I don’t have a cell phone.

I’m pretty sure I’m being sabotaged. And not the only one, either.

  1. Hi Lee, not sure how often you check your emails, but look for a couple from me and one from MeWe. I’m going to get your new account set up today, but you’ll have to confirm your email address with them before I can get in and do anything. If you don’t have an email from them, please let me know and I’ll ask the system to resend it. You might need to check your spam folder…

    1. Please tell me! How do you get your posts onto MeWe? Did you have to set up a new site? Do you post your whole blog on MeWe, or just individual posts as you create them? And where on MeWe do you put them?

    2. I think if some of us get together and start displaying each other’s posts on our own pages, we’ll all wind up with quite a few more views. It’s just simple networking: putting a lot of little guys together to make a bigger guy. If you have ten views for a post on your page, how many would that post have if five more Christian bloggers displayed it? This is easy to do, it doesn’t cost anything, and it brings Christian bloggers together.

    3. Good idea; just found you on mewe! Usually sharing on groups helps drives views on one’s blog; the tricky part is not over doing it where it seems like spamming. I typically share a link day in various groups relevant to the topic of my post. I think this group is one you should join that cover many of your topics: https://mewe.com/group/5efb5c2054533443227fddd3

    4. I have to show this to Patty first; I dassn’t do computer stuff on my own, I don’t know how it’ll turn out.
