Yes, I know, I know it’s not Christmas yet. But there was this Fountainview Academy video of Joy to the World sitting there and saying, “Post me, come on, post me!” So I did.
This is a gorgeous production, and I’m not ashamed to say it brought a tear of joy to my eye.
How appropriate. How the world desperately needs joy right now.
I always follow these promptings that come out of the blue, when it’s time to post a hymn.
Good idea. I usually wake up each morning with one of them in my thoughts. This morning, it was I surrender All. I love the way Carroll does it.
Yowza! Amazing performance, amazing setting. And how in the world did some of those students manage to play the strings with gloves on???

How interesting that you picked this song today. I had not read this post before we had our morning devotions. We always pray, sing a song or two, and read at least one chapter from the Bible. I wanted to sing a Christmas hymn, and we sang “Joy to the World.”
Those coincidences happen all the time around here.
