A little later on I’ll have a new one for you from Joshua & Jeremy; but first this, an old Sunday school favorite–This Is My Father’s World, sung by the kids at Fountainview Academy.
This is my Father’s world,/ O let me ne’er forget
That tho’ the wrong seems oft so strong,
God is the ruler yet.
Loved this hymn as a child and love it even more now! Here’s a request (maybe for tomorrow): “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name.”
One of my favorites! You’ve convinced me to post it today.
I love both of these hymns. I sing them to myself often and love to hear them from people who really have singing voices.
When I am doing work outside, picking up garbage, planting, weeding, and cleaning, next to our canal I sing this wonderful hymn a lot, and I don’t care who hears me sing it. And some times, I even get to talk to others about my Father’s world.
People seem to like it if I whistle hymns. They wouldn’t like it if I sung them.
I can’t whistle, so I have to sing. And it seems most like my singing. But I can’t sing anywhere as well as the young lady who sang that song here.
If you sounded like her, people would really take notice.
