Dogs have some funny fears. Orange peels. Climbing the stairs. Shadows. I’m especially intrigued by the dog who has to climb the stairs backwards. Why does he feel he has to do that? And what’s with the orange peel?

Leo, my big dog was terrified of our Electrolux vacuum cleaner. And every time we would bring it out, he would have his tail between his legs as he ran to find a hiding place.
A lot of dogs and cats are scared of vacuum cleaners. My iguana didn’t mind them, but my cats always went under the bed.
