First hymn that came to mind today–Praise Ye the Lord the Almighty, sung by the choir at the Laodicean Church of God. How many times did we sing this in my old church, before it went all weird and wobbly on us?

I love this old hymn. I like the way this choir sings this wonderful hymn. However, the third verse has different wording than most hymn books. Still good lyrics, but I also like the standard version’s third verse, and I especially like the last line.
3. Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
Surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, if with his love he befriends you.
That’s how we had it in Sunday school.
